Privacy Policy
Snaps (“we”, “us”) is an on-device screenshot sorter and personal inspo board. This policy explains what information we handle.
Information We Process
- A local profile created when you continue into the app on this device, including your avatar photo if you set one.
- Screenshots and photos you scan or capture, OCR text used to sort packs, notes, voice memos, and inspo boards. These stay on your device and are not uploaded to a Snaps server.
- Points balance stored on this device for consumable mark unlocks and HD export.
- Purchase receipts processed by Apple for in-app consumable Points packs.
- An Apple Push Notification device token if you allow notifications, stored on this device for push registration.
How We Use Information
We use this information on your device to operate Snaps: scan screenshots, classify packs, keep or delete packs, pin inspo notes, place marks, record a voice note, export a board to Photos, and complete Points purchases.
Device Permissions
- Camera — used to capture a screenshot-style photo when you tap Camera.
- Microphone — used to record an inspo note when you tap Record.
- Photo Library (read) — used to scan screenshots or set your avatar when you tap Scan or Photos.
- Photo Library (add) — used to save an inspo export into Photos when you tap Export.
- Notifications — optional reminders after you allow notifications following Continue.
- App Tracking — Apple’s tracking prompt after you tap Continue. If allowed, Snaps may use a device identifier to measure screenshot sorting features. Declining tracking does not block scan, keep, save, or export.
Declining a permission only disables the related feature. The rest of the sorter still works.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Screenshots and boards remain on this device; they are not shared with other Snaps users over the network.
